Mika Laitinen | Solution Sales Director

With 30 years of experience in automation business and over 10 years at Fastems, Mika Laitinen works as a Solution Sales Director in Fastems. He is supporting Fastems’ customers globally in automating complex processes, as well as supporting the organization with challenging robot application projects. Mr. Laitinen is working together regional sales managers to understand customer requirements in detail to develop technical and commercial solutions together with the factory organisation in Finland. 

Philip Cattaneo | Sales Manager UK & Ireland

Having spent his career working in the machine tool and CNC automation/robotics industry as an automation specialist for a machine tool OEM, Philip Cattaneo works as the UK Sales Manager at Fastems. He is managing customers relations and finding ways that Fastems can problem solve the variousneeds of UK manufacturing companies. Philip holds a Higher National Diploma in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering with distinction. 

Robert Humphreys | Senior Sales Manager

With over 45 years of experience in product engineering out of which 30 in factory automation, Mr. Robert Humphreys is an International Sales Manager at Fastems, a global leading supplier of intelligent factory automation solutions for metalworking manufacturers. His mission is to help metalworking companies make successful business in rapidly changing markets with automation and digitalization. Mr. Humphreys has been working with Fastems since 1999 first as the sales manager of UK operation, then as managing director of Fastems Ltd., before moving to the US in 2006 as part of an expansion of Fastems business in North America. Before Fastems Mr. Humphreys has worked in the machine tool world offering turnkey engineering and FMS solutions and prior to that he worked as a program manager and a planning engineer in aerospace and defense contract manufacturers.
